Consider creating “a mastermind group of like-minded people to support you in creative brainstorming, positive risk taking, and proactive behavior” suggests Caroline Adams Miller, author of Creating Your Best Life.
“Research shows that we change our behaviors, both positive and negative, depending on the people we spend time with, and any kind of job change will requite that you remain in a flourishing emotional place.”
Because of your idea spark and information on starting a MM group, I started one with 5 other women last September, all from different fields but with a value on professional aspirations. It’s been a terrific venture.
Mastermind groups where you gather with like-minded, resourceful and proactive people are essential in a flourishing life, I believe. Relationships that are positive and meaningful have also be correlated with happiness, so I hope that anyone who is interested in trying this out makes 2013 the year of mastermind change.
